Features on the Side

Thanks to Board Trustee Kathy Morris, I learned how to add a convenient index of topics covered in the blog to the various features along the left margin of the blog just below the photograph of the Manse.  By clicking on one of the "Topics Discussed in Posts" you are taken instantly to all of the posts with those topics.  Clicking on "Show all posts" in the box at the top of the posts will return you to the reverse chronological arrangement of all the recent blog topics.  I regret to say that once I make a typo in listing a topic, the typo stays forever--thus there are at least a couple of places where the word Library ends up as LIbrary.  It is beyond my power to fix this, so please accept apologies instead of corrections. (Note that this situation is not the case for the blog posts themselves.  If you see anything that needs correction in the body of a post, please let me know and I will fix it immediately.)

The other features in the left-hand column are also useful. In the current arrangement, the position below the blog topics is a window for the archive, which gives you access to posts by month.  Below the archive is the list of the current members of the Building Expansion Fund Raising Committee--let me know at bryanhbunch@gmail.com if you would like to join the committee. Under that is a description of me, the blogger. Then there is a mysterious group called "Followers."  This does not seem to bring any special benefits, although when I set it up I expected that it would. 

The last item in the left-hand column, "Statcounter," is really just for me--this enables me to see how many persons have looked at the blog each day.
