Old Pleasant Valley Friend to be Interim Director of MHL System

Josh Cohen is retiring as Executive Director of the Mid-Hudson Library System after ten very productive years in the position.  While the search is on for a new Executive Director, staff member Meribeth Advocate is taking charge on an interim basis.

Pleasant Valley residents with a medium-long memory will recall that current Pleasant Valley resident Advocate was once the Children's Librarian at the Pleasant Valley Free Library, a vital member of the staff.  I am sure that all will join me in wishing her well as the Interim Director.  Since leaving the Pleasant Valley Library for the Mid-Hudson System, she has been one of the key players in the success of this important pillar of our local library system.
