Congressman to Visit Library

Sorry for the dearth of posts--I have been on vacation for most of August.

Today I received the following message from our local congressman, Scott Murphy:

"I wanted to let you know that I will be hosting a Congress on Your Corner town hall this Wednesday, September 1st, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Free Library. I'll be there with members of my staff to discuss your concerns about local issues as well as what's going on in Congress.

"In the past year and a half, I have visited all 137 towns and held over 100 public meetings in order to hear from private industry leaders and constituents about how we can get our economy moving again and help create jobs.

"This Congress on Your Corner will provide an opportunity to learn more about my efforts to Renew Upstate New York by rebuilding the economy for our middle class families during these tough times. I am looking forward to meeting with you and answering whatever questions you may have.

"I hope to see you there. "

And I hope to see you there.  This is an opportunity not to be missed.
